The Eikholt conference 2019 was organised with the theme \"How can ICT help people with deafblindness gain access to an active and social life\". <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Digital agenda<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Norwegian government's digital agenda is for ICT to create a simpler everyday life for us all. This includes making digital services easy to understand and easy to use for everyone (Meld.St. 27 2015-2016<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For people with dual sensory loss, ICT can contribute to opportunities for activity and social contact when universal design and training are good. This conference will provide insight into both existing and new ICT solutions, as well as how they can solve everyday challenges through good facilitation and guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
