Tactile Reading conference Amsterdam 2025<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Eikholt's audiographers Rolf Mj\u00f8nes and Anne-May F\u00f8rland have attended \"Tactile Reading<\/a>\" conference in Amsterdam. With over 500 participants from all over the world, the conference has a rich programme that includes lectures, workshops and various discussion forums on everything from research on swelling paper, new technology for tactile maps, the production of various tactile models for museum use and much more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rolf and Anne-May participated with a presentation of their project \"Method for scanning and 3D printing of the two-handed alphabet\". The session went very well, with many participants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project attracted interest from many countries<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The project aroused the interest of many. Rolf and Anne-May sat for a long time discussing with conference participants from the USA, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands and South Africa. They wanted to do exactly the same with their own sign language alphabets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was extra fun that the presentation took place on the bicentenary of Braille. <\/p>\n\n\n
