We combine clinical work, research, technology, and user perspectives \u2013 and we are committed to developing services with high quality and great value for our users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>About the position<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The role is part of Eikholt\u2019s specialist department and will play a key part in the work of assessing, supporting and following up on individuals with combined visual and hearing impairments. With us, you\u2019ll have plenty of time for each course participant, who will be supported over several days during their stay at Eikholt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will be part of an interdisciplinary vision and hearing team. The work is carried out both independently and in collaboration with others, and involves close interaction with audiologists, opticians, vision educators, mobility advisors, IT advisors, healthcare professionals, and peer support workers, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>You will work with:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mapping and assessment of hearing and hearing function<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow-up and optimisation of hearing aids<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Facilitation of the sound environment and communication situations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Guidance and training for course participants, close contacts, and professionals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribution to individual and group-based adaptation courses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interdisciplinary rehabilitation work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Testing and evaluation of technology and technical solutions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Documentation and professional development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to development work and knowledge sharing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The place of work is Konnerud, but some travel must be expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Who are we looking for?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We are looking for someone who is professionally confident, curious, and people-oriented.
