This confirms the importance of the work on the project \u201cArchitecture for all senses \u2013 inclusive for all\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Regulatory development and skills development&nbsp;<\/strong>Inclusion Universal Design<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The government\u2019s strategy emphasizes that services, transport infrastructure, buildings, outdoor areas, and digital solutions must be designed so that they can be used by the greatest number of people, regardless of functional ability. To ensure equal access to the community\u2019s spaces, barriers must be removed and universal design must be strengthened. Therefore, the government states that work on regulatory development and skills development in universal design must be continued and strengthened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00abUniversal design is an important societal quality that contributes to sustainability, increased equality, and better physical and digital environments for everyone\u00bb<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quote taken from <em>new strategy for<\/em> <em>Equality of persons with disabilities (2026\u20132032)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Four areas of effort<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to universal design, the government has chosen to prioritize the areas of effort:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>democracy and equal participation&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>security and freedom from discrimination&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a well-functioning mechanism that coordinates and integrates the services for people with disabilities. &nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The four areas of intervention are considered to be important for the realization of the rights of persons with disabilities. The government\u2019s work is based on the principles of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eikholt project on accessibility for deafblind people<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The strategy is fully in line with Eikholt its ambitions.
