Celebrating an extra grant of NOK 10 million

In 2012, the Ministry of Finance tightened the VAT rules. This meant that Eikholt had to repay VAT for years dating back to 2004.
The total bill for the VAT refund ended up at NOK 12.6 million. This was an unforeseen expense that Eikholt had to cover through savings and loans, which meant that development plans had to be put on hold and the company's room for manoeuvre was severely limited.
At the end of May, however, Kristin Ørmen Johnsen announced that Eikholt will receive NOK 10 million above the revised budget.
The board and employees celebrated the fact that the governing parties and KrF had agreed on an extra allocation of NOK 10 million for Eikholt in the revised national budget. It's good to see that the injustice committed against Eikholt can be rectified!
