User survey 2025 gives Eikholt good feedback

Why do we have a user survey?
The aim of user surveys is to map the quality of services provided to users, reputation and how satisfied users are with Eikholt in general. Eikholt is the users' place. This measurement gives us concrete feedback on what is good and what we should continue to work on.
How many have responded?
This year's user survey was sent out to 118 people and achieved a response rate of 44%. This is a good result for this type of survey and is at the same level as in 2023.
What does the user survey say?
In the vast majority of areas, the 2025 user survey still shows a very high level of satisfaction. This year's survey actually shows an increase in the proportion of participants who are satisfied with Eikholt overall. 96 % of respondents are either very satisfied or fairly satisfied with Eikholt. These results are clearly better compared to what was measured in 2023.
What do users find most important about Eikholt?
Willingness to recommend Eikholt strengthens slightly from the previous user survey. The results show that as many as 94% say it is either very likely or quite likely that they would recommend Eikholt to others.
The fact that the services are personalised is still the most important reason for choosing Eikholt. Next, it is important that employees are perceived as skilled and that you meet people in the same situation as yourself. It's also important that the centre is well adapted to users' needs.
Users are very satisfied with the quality of the services they receive at Eikholt. The way they are greeted and understood by the staff is of significant importance in this context. When it comes to up-to-date information provided before, during and after courses, satisfaction is slightly lower than in 2023.
92% of those who responded have received services at the centre in Drammen. This is a much higher proportion than among those who responded in 2023 (72%). In general, people are very satisfied with the centre. However, as in 2023, some respondents are not so satisfied with the fitness centre. In other words, there is a high level of satisfaction with the centre's location, course rooms, outdoor areas and accommodation. People are still most satisfied with the food, as well as with how safe it feels to be at Eikholt.
Is there anything Eikholt can do better?
One of the aims of the survey is also to find out what we can improve. We have received a great deal of constructive feedback from those who responded to the survey. Here are some issues that we are following up in particular:
- Course offerings: We have received many good suggestions and requests. These include the use of interpreters/companions, technology and the topic of old age. These will be included in the planning of new courses.
- Information about courses: Feedback indicates that we can improve when it comes to information about courses and course programmes. We are now systematically adding information about the programme and other relevant information for course participants, interpreters and others who will be attending the course to the go info screen app. You can read about this here: App with information for those travelling to Eikholt. We will continue to work on the systematics for sending this information to course participants.
- Information about individual courses and programmes: We want to improve information about individual courses and course programmes. We will look at everything from ensuring clear content as the individual prefers it, to routines for how we send this out.
- Energy measures: The old heating controls in the rooms have been upgraded. This is also an environmental measure.
- Outdoor hiking trails: the path around Eikholt should be cleared and repaired.
- Fitness room: point labelling of appliances will be implemented
- Refrigerators in rooms: rooms that lack a fridge will get one.
