Who is the course suitable for

This course is for people with a combined visual and hearing impairment who experience challenges with reading due to vision loss. If you want to learn about alternative methods and possibilities, this course will benefit you.

Course content and objectives

At the end of the course, you will have knowledge of methods and options that are suitable for your vision and hearing, which you can continue to work with.

• The smart ones: Use artificial intelligence to find and read the information you need, quickly and securely
• Read with sight and hearing: Learn about talking reading TVs, reading machines, Orcam and Orcam Read and any other new technical solutions that have emerged
• Read with your fingers: Introduction to braille and reading list
• A world of words: Audiobooks, full-text DAISY books, e-books, magazines,
  reading clubs or maybe a little bit of everything
