After many years as CEO of Eikholt, Roar Meland is retiring this year. The board of Eikholtis now pleased to announce that Ben-Lewi Hansen has been appointed as the new director, taking up his position from 3 August 2026.
Ben-Lewi Hansen comes from the position of General Manager for Med-El Norway. Med-El is an international manufacturer and supplier of implantable hearing solutions.
As motivation for applying for the position at Eikholt, Ben-Lewi highlights a strong desire to work more directly with people, and the opportunity to contribute to improving their living conditions.
The recruitment committee considers that Ben-Lewi Hansen has the experience, expertise, and motivation required to develop Eikholtfurther. He has extensive management experience, including responsibility for strategy, finance, and employees, and he has a good network within the health and specialist health services. The board particularly highlights his holistic leadership profile and strong motivation to contribute to Eikholt’s societal mission.
