Position available as Counsellor vision and mobility

We are looking for a professional who wants to work innovatively with professional and service development and close user contact. A desire to work interdisciplinary is a matter of course in this position.

Current work areas:

  • Development and implementation of customisation courses, individually and in groups
  • Training and follow-up of our users in braille, mobility and the use of visual aids
  • Mapping of rehabilitation needs
  • Training programmes for professionals and teaching at colleges and universities
  • Counselling for children, young people and adults
  • Collaboration with specialised environments nationally and internationally
  • Project work and other professional development work
  • Documentation and publication of knowledge

Desired qualifications:

  • Vision educator or other relevant education within vision
  • Additional education/specialisation in the field of mobility is desirable
  • Experience from vision assessment, rehabilitation and educational work
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Experience from research and development work and project work
  • Sign language skills are desirable, but not a requirement
