The Eikholt test on the front page of Audiografen

Several times a year, almost all of the country's audiographers receive the trade magazine "Audiografen" in their mailboxes. In the latest issue, you can read an article by audiographer Rolf Mjønes about the development of a new audio-visual test of speech understanding, also known as the "Eikholt test".

The article explains what an audio-visual test is and why it is an important tool for anyone working with vision and hearing, and not least; how the test benefits people with sensory loss.
The development of the test is partly funded by the DAM Foundation, with the Norwegian Association of the Hard of Hearing as the applicant organisation. The article can be read in full on HLF's website project pages; click on the link in the box labelled "Documentation".
More information about the Eikholt test can be found on a separate info page about the test. If you would like more information, Rolf Mjønes can be contacted by email: rolf.mjones@eikholt.no
