Eikholt takes over the Haptics app: Pocket edition
Haptics: Pocket edition, an app developed by Hapti-Co, has been an important resource for people with vision loss and combined visual and hearing impairment/deafblindness. Now Eikholt has taken over ownership and entered into a partnership with Hapti-Co. The aim is to develop the app on a new platform so that it can once again be accessible to everyone. This collaboration will ensure that the app can continue to support users, carers and professionals.
Method for 3D-printed sign language alphabet well received
Eikholt's audiographers Rolf Mjønes and Anne-May Førland have this week participated in the "Tactile Reading" conference in Amsterdam. Here they presented the project "Method for scanning and 3D printing of the two-handed alphabet". The conference has over 500 participants from all over the world. Svein is committed to social policy
Svein Fossum lives in Hønefoss. He is known for his involvement in socio-political issues and is therefore not completely unfamiliar with the political world. He is one of the participants in the group course who has discussed and prepared topical issues for meetings with politicians in Parliament.
