Meeting room with two entrance doors. Between the doors, three windows with louvres. You are standing in the left door on your way into the room. The meeting room has an oval table, five chairs on each long side and one on each short side. A total of 12 chairs.

Near the table's right-hand card end, a screen for video call connection and cable outlets for VGA and USB-C.

Two screens for video calls on the right short wall. A cabinet underneath and two speakers on the floor. One on each side of the screens.

There are cameras in the ceiling at the right and left ends of the board. The cameras are switched on for distance learning. There are four windows straight ahead and one window on the left card wall. Under the windows there are heaters and sockets. The windows have curtains and sun blinds that are controlled by remote control.

The table behind the door is one metre high. On the table you'll find a small rubbish bin for waste sorting, a bottle of antibac and a remote control for sun protection. Above it hangs a clock.

Carpet covering the entire floor. The room has good acoustics and a hearing loop. Can be rigged with table microphones.

The room is often used for meetings, individual and group courses.

QR code at the door

To the right of the door to Borlaug 3 is a QR code. It can be scanned by anyone - including the blind and partially sighted - using a mobile phone or tablet. The QR code leads to this page, where you can read the description and see a picture of the room. Smart - and accessible, right!

Who is this for?

Eikholt is for people with combined visual and hearing impairments. A detailed room description can be a reassurance for many, a necessity for some and practical for others. For us, it's all about accessibility - everyone should be able to prepare and know what to expect.
