Reading is an important part of everyday life and this skill is essential in many situations. In this course, you have the opportunity to explore new ways of reading. The theme is: Learn to Read Smart. With your fingers, with your hearing, with your sight.
This is a brand new course where we find the joy and benefit of reading together - in the way that suits you best and is most effective for you.
The course will therefore be tailored to those who sign up. You'll get days full of practical exercises, some theory - and meet others who also want to read in many ways.
Course content:
- Read Smart: Use artificial intelligence to find and read the information you need, quickly and securely.
- Read with sight and hearing: Learn about talking reading TVs, reading machines, Orcam and Orcam Read.
- Read with your fingers: Introduction to braille and reading lists
- A world of words: Audiobooks, full-text daisy books, e-books, magazines, reading clubs - or maybe a bit of everything.
Target group:
The course is suitable for those who experience difficulties with reading due to vision loss. If you want to learn about alternative methods and possibilities, this course will benefit you.
