Who is the course suitable for

This course is for people with a combined visual and hearing impairment who experience challenges with reading due to vision loss. If you want to learn about alternative methods and possibilities, this course will benefit you.

Course content and objectives

After completing the course, you will be familiar with methods and opportunities that suit your vision and hearing, which you can continue working with when you get home.

• The smart ones: Use artificial intelligence to find and read the information you need, quickly and securely
• Read with sight and hearing: Learn about talking CCTVs, reading machines, and possibly other new technical solutions
• Read with your fingers: Introduction to braille and reading list
• A world of words: get to know different ways of reading, such as audiobooks, full-text DAISY books, e-books, magazines,
  reading groups – or perhaps a bit of everything
